Subject of investigation - phase- and structure formation processes in anorthite lightweight products, which provide the lightweight reception with a microporous structure and low thermal conductivity; the purpose of investigation - the development of technology and introduction of production in Ukraine of anorthite lightweight products with a microporous structure with apparent density no more than 1,3 g/sm3 and thermal conductivity at average temperature of 650 °С no more than 0,35 W/(м·К) for temperature of service 1250-1300 °С; methods of investigation - petrographic, roentgenophase, chemical and electron-microscopical methods of analysis, mercury high-pressure porosimetry method and standartized research procedures of lightweight products properties; theoretical and practical results - the possibility of light-weight products receipt with a microporous structure, as a result of water removing, bonded in the skeleton of a green, is theoretically proved and practically confirmed and based on phase-and structure formation processes, the technology of anorthite lightweight is developed; novelty - it is established, that in samples with CaO content ~ 15 % the anorthite is synthesized at lower temperatures without low-temperature phases formation and the least thermal conductivity has anorthite lightweight with the maximal micropore proportion of 99 % (pore radius from 1 up to 6 microns) which insignificantly increases with the temperature increase; the extent of introduction - the developed technology is introduced in Ukraine in OJSC "The Ukrainian research institute of refractories named after A.S. Berezhnoy", where the production of anorthite light-weight products with a microporous structure is realized; sphere of use - in thermal units of petrochemistry, mechanical engineering and other industries, where the work of lining is connected with the contact of the reduction carbon containing mediums at temperatures up to 1300 °С.
