Essay

It is necessary in emergencies (fire, sudden methane feeder, etc.) to take into account additional natural draught sources that can result in violation of the ventilation condition. A mathematical model of influence of different draught sources on air distribution in the mine working network is considered. Analytical equations of dependence of flow velocity in longitudinal and transversal coordinates have been obtained. The air flow velocity ensuring stability of the stream under the roof of the working has been substantiated. A method for calculation of the contrary stream parameters has been proposed and zones of fire gases distribution have been determined. The software for solving the ventilation problems under normal and accidental conditions has been developed and widely used at the coal enterprises of the Ukraine and Russia.
