The object constitutes general theoretic and methodic principles and approaches to assessing the innovational level of industrial production. The purpose is to perfect the methodological principles and methodic approaches to assessing the innovational level of the production in industry. Methods of analysis, comparison, and generalization; system, economic and statistic analysis, quality control, expert evaluation. Novelty – for the first  time developed are the complex of hierarchically subordinate quantitative indicators of the innovational level in industrial production, theoretic principles and methodic provisions for its robust evaluation. As a result, proved are the methodological principles and developed is the methodic approach to quantitative measurement of the innovational level of industrial production.
