The object of research is the optimization process of the image-recognition information technology; the purpose of research is efficiency of processing and recognition of images by geometrical attributes increasing in the automated information-recognizing systems of the eye-processor type; methods and equipment are analytical, experimental; the theoretical and practical results are developed formal models of description of images and methods of geometrical attributes formation; novelties: attributes "the centre of connectedness" and "the axis of orientation" have been introduced for the first time, the structural description of the images has been advanced, the classification of image form has been developed; degree of introduction lies within the limits of the field; area of use is automated systems of image information recognition.
