Essay

Research subject - mechanotreated in water, air and ethanol V2O5 and VOHPO4 0,5H2O. Aim - find out the influence of the mechanotreatment media nature on structure, state of the surface, size and morphology of particles as well as catalytic properties of vanadium oxide and vanadyl hydrophosphate. Research techniques used - XRD, SEM, TEM, HRTEM, IR, ED, EELS, etc. Scientific advances - obtained results allowed to find out the influence of the mechanotreatment media nature and its duration on evolution of structure defects, state of the surface, modification of texture and morphology of particles of vanadium oxide and vanadyl hydrophosphate. Explanation of increased catalytic activity which supposes existance of isolated catalytically active clasters was proposed.
