Polischuck G. The Criminological Characteristics and Prevention of Ecological Crimes (on the materials of Prychornomors'k region in Ukraine)

The dissertation is devoted to the actual problems of criminological characteristics and prevention of ecological crimes in Prychornomors'k region of Ukraine. The state of environment in Ukrainian Prychornomor'ia and the peculiarities of law enforcement ecological activity in Ukraine have been studied and established. The paper also presents the notion of ecological criminality and describes its main features, modern state and tendencies to development. The comparative analysis of criminological data generally in Ukraine and specifically in Prychornomors'k region, the problems of determination and latency of ecological criminality as well as the main social and special criminological preventive measures in environment protection have been studied and established.
