Muravljova O. Peculiarities of the clinical course and combined treatment of autoimmune thyroiditis

The thesis is devoted to the peculiarity of the clinical course and combined treatment of autoimmune thyroiditis. According to received data Poltava region belongs to the zone of moderate iodine deficiency, increased level of fluorine and radioactive nuclides strengthens the iodine inadequacy. The peculiarities of clinical course of autoimmune thyroiditis, which is determined by staging (hashitoxicosis, euthyroidism, hypothyroidism), were determined. In accordance with the character of metabolic changes four types of course were defined: immune, peroxide, mixed and metabolic latent. Taking into account the character of metabolic changes in autoimmune thyroiditis it has been determined the choice of medical procedures, immunomodeling complex is used for immune type, direct antioxidant of thiothriazoline is practiced for peroxide one, immunomodeling complex and antioxidant of thiothriazoline are used for mixed type and mildronate is useful for metabolic latent type. It was found that using autoimmune thyroiditis of varied treatment subjecting to course type of autoimmune thyroiditis aids to decrease the process of destruction of thyrocytes by thyroid antibodies, immune complexes, free radicals which are held up the hypothyroidism development.
