Dobrogors'kyj M. Provision of passenger-car stability at top speed

The object of research: variation of dynamic parameters of motor vehicles during both straight-line and curvilinear motion. The aim of research is to improve methods of mathematic modeling, methods to solve systems of non-linear differential equations as well as methods to analyze their stability, physical modeling, and practical testing of the object. Theoretical and practical results: the influence of the destabilizing moment on parameters of course and directional stability has been investigated, requirements towards the performance of the dynamic stability system have been determined. Novelty: correlation between the value of the destabilizing moment, which is active in the plane of road, and the motor-vehicle riding stability in motion has been revealed; qualitative characteristics of motor-vehicle course-angle stabilizing during regulation of the destabilizing moment have been obtained. Implementation level: the results of the dissertation research are utilized by R&D Department of the Machines &Systems Institute of the Ministry of Industrial Policy and National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine as well as by Kharkiv Bokarius Research Institute for Forensic Expertise, Zaporizhzhya Automobile Factory (AutoZaz Ltd.).
