Object of research - newly detected sputum positive destructive lung tuberculosis; the aim - increase the treating efficacy of patients with newly detected sputum positive destructive lung tuberculosis by application of individualized techniques of antibacterial therapy depending on amount and sizes of destructions; methods - clinical, laboratory, radiological, microbiological, statistical; novelty -amount and sizes on the lung is objective criteria for purpose of different regimes in the beginning of chemotherapy; results - it was established, that the treating efficiency of these patients depends on amount, size of destructions and the intensity of chemotherapy in the beginning of chemotherapy; our investigation demonstrates that is necessary to use 4 antituberculosis drugs in the beginning of chemotherapy for patients with single small destruction, and 5 and more antituberculosis drugs in the beginning of chemotherapy for patients with single big or plural destructions; it was proved, that application of 5 antituberculosis drugs, in comparison with application 4 antituberculosis drugs, in the beginning of chemotherapy, raises frequency of the sputum conversion, reduces frequency of relapses at patients with single big or plural destructions.
