The thesis is devoted to the scientific problem solution of the increasing the efficacy of the prevention and treatment of hyperbilirubinemia in mature newborns in neonatal period. The examination results analysis of mature infants with apparent hyperbilirubinemia in the dynamics of the neonatal period has shown that in 34,6% cases the pathologic jaundice is occurred against the background of the fetus intrauterine infection with viruses of the Herpesviridae family. In the antenatal period it becomes apparent with the pathology of mother's pregnancy with the evident manifestation of the premature delivery threat, physical growth and development, and functional maturing retardation of a number of systems in a fetus. The author has pathogenetically confirmed and shown the efficacy of the inclusion of those medications, which promote the enterohepatic bilirubin circulation interruption, cholestasis elimination and intestinal motility rehabilitation, in the complex therapy of the neonatal hyperbilirubinemia in mature newborns. The administration of the complex which includes enterosgel in combination with cholagogic agents and probiotics promotes the rapid nonhemolytic hyperbilirubinemia elimination and gastrointestinal function rehabilitation, which allows to reduce the infusion therapy extent and the hospital stay in the department of newborns pathology.
