Essay

The author has worked out a number of methods determining the bending stress and deformation extent at any point of the drill column in the curved hole of the bore. Another chapter of the dissertation deals with improving the existing methods of forecasting the durability of borehole units. Great attention is given to determining the surplus resource based on the results of investigating the tensile stress and defectoscopy – C-criterion and KI-criterion.
