Essay

In the investigations conducted in 1998-2001 on dark-grey podzolic light loamy soils of Western Forest Steppe Zone of Ukraine it is revealed the complex action of main tillage depth and modern herbicides in the technology of winter wheat growing after red clover and corn for sillage; it is given general grounds of investigated factors hawing influence on wide spectrum of soil fertility indices, phytosanitary state of sowings and soil, yield formation and quality grain indices with substantiation their economic and energetic profitability. Decrease (reduction) of tillage depth on the background of herbicides application during winter wheat sowing after clover provides expenses saving of 384,5 and after corn for sillage - 348,1 MGj/ha.
