Essay

177 species of moth were found in the region of researches. 11 species were firstly recorded for Ukraine. The analysis of the biotopical distributing of pyralid moth was made. Seven types of ecological complexes were distinguished by the estimating the degree of relative preference. They are meadow complex, forest, eurybiontic, anthropic, complex of agricultural lands, wetlands and forest-steppe ones. Flight seasonality of most registered species was analyzed. Three phenologic groups of species were established by the terms of flight: l. The trophic links of moth caterpillars were analyzed. All registered species subdivided into 23 groups according to the types of their areas and belong to 10 zoogeographical complexes.
