Essay

Totally 109 species were recorded, 38 species of which were recorded for Ukraine for the first time, 1 species was described as new, 3 species names were synonymized. The comparative morphological analysis was provided; some characters were proposed for the first time. The available host data on Carpathian Pimplinae were summarized, new hosts for some species were found. The high-altitude zone and plant association distribution, and seasonal dynamics of the Carpathian Pimplinae were discussed. The species complex of the ichneumonid parasitoids of xylobiontes in the studied area, was analysed.
