Dissertation elucidates theoretical and practical issues connected with organisational and legal and criminological aspects of counteraction to crimes which are committed with weapon. The signs of "armed" crimes; causes and conditions of this phenomenon are determined in this research work; the analysis of legislation of a number of foreign countries on responsibility for perpetration of armed crimes is realised; the contemporary condition of counteraction to crimes which are committed with weapon in Ukraine is analysed. On the basis of results obtained in the course of research, the propositions on improving of the criminal legislation of Ukraine are elaborated; the complex of measures of counteraction to crimes which are committed with weapon is presented.
