Object - financial resources and the mechanism of financial provision of health protection in Ukraine. Aim - synthesizing and deepening the theoretical fundamentals of financial provision of health protection, and basing the set of recommendations regarding the modernization of health protection financing. Methods - dialectical, scientific abstractions and analogues, historical, modelling, statistical. Results - the theoretical fundamentals are deepened, and practical recommendations regarding the improvement of financial provision of health protection in Ukraine are elaborated. Novelty - the state's functions on the market of medical services are specified; formula for calculating the health protection expenditure volume of the ARC budget and of regional budgets is improved; economic-mathematical model for optimizing expenditures of a preventive institution for purchasing medical supplies and other medical goods is developed; conception for modernizing the mechanism of financial provision of the state sector of health protection is еlaborated. Implemented - in activities of financial organs and governmental bodies working in the field of health protection when preparing normative-legislative documents. Sphere - budget system.
