Essay

The dissertation is devoted to the development of modern methods of classification which can be applied for computing large scale arrays of the text documentation in the system of document circulation of the Common automated information system of the customs service of Ukraine. One of the actual questions for the customs service of Ukraine is the problem of classification of the documents functioning in the database of the automated information retrieval system, with the helping of the mail server of internal customs network INTRANET. In the dissertation methods of the automated classification of the documents, taking into account a relative frequency coming across the definite belonging to the various subject sections, and also interde-pendence of the appearance of different terms in documents of the definite class are offered.
