In dissertation complex political historical and politological research of questions of military policy is carried out in the position papers of Ukrainian political parties. Growth of role of political parties is shown in modern public development. Basic and priority directions of military policy of Ukraine are exposed. The method of analysis of military-political reference points is developed in the position papers of political parties of Ukraine. Historical experience of military policy of Ukrainian political parties in the conditions of creation of the state is Studied 1917-1920 Above all attention in dissertation is spared to the analysis and systematization of military-political reference points in the position papers of political parties of a different ideological direction of sovereign Ukraine. Thus problems of military reform, new Military doctrine, development of defensive-industrial complex, basic parameters of future Military Powers, question of public welfare and military education of personnel of the armed forming of Ukraine are considered.
