Shkorbotun Y. Experimentally-clinical justification topical use а-adrenomimetics in complex treatment patients with chronic purulent otitis media

This thesis is devoted to medicament treatment of patients with chronic purulent otitis media (CPOM). 141 patients with acuting tubothympanal form of CPOM were observed, influence of antibiotics, corticosteroid, а-adrenomimetic and ultrasound on phagocytis activity were evaluated in vitro. New method of treatment patients with tubothympanal form of CPOM which is based on immunoreaction stimulation of middle ear cavity mucosa due to topical use а-adrenomimetic (phenylephrin) before endoaural ultraphonoforesis of antibiotics and corticosteroids was designed and justificated. The method allow to elevate effectively of treatment, that proved by cytological results and fast regress of clinical signs of acuting, 1,4 times reduce the amount of patients that remission of otitis weren't achieved in adult and 1,7 - in children, and also reduce in 2,6 times frequency of recidivating for 6 months. It provide conditions for performing functional-reconstructive operation additional 11,7% adult and 14,1% childrenwith acuting of CPOM.
