Prisiazhniuk T. The Victim of a Crime in the Criminal Law of Ukraine

The dissertation is devoted to the problems of forming the institution of the victim of a crime in the criminal law of Ukraine. Normative, theoretical, and practical prerequisites for introducing and developing this institution in the national criminal law are investigated. The paper defines the criminal and legal content of the notion of victim of a crime, which correlates with the corresponding notions of the criminal and legal procedures and criminology. The paper studies the victim as a corpus delicti characte ristics related to the object of a crime. The author formulates recommendations for the improvement of the criminal legislation in effect.
