Dissertation work is devoted studies of terms of motion and work-load of barbells column in vertical and distorted drillholes and increase of efficiency of exploitation of barbells and down-pumps on this ba-sis. Research of motion of plunger of down-pump are in-process conducted taking into account deforma-tions of column of barbells and different laws of motion of point of attachment of barbells. Equaliza-tions are got for determination of flexion moment and tensions in connection of barbells and plunger. With the purpose of diminishing of loading on barbells construction of barbells column is considered with two down-pumps located at different levels. On the laboratory setting experimental researches of influ-encing of corner of curvature of mining hole are con-ducted on the value of longitudinal efforts in barbells.
