The investigation data of the bone mineral density in postmenopausal women with primary osteoarthrosis by dual energy X-ray densitometry are presented. Various changes in bone tissue such as osteosclerosis, osteopenia and osteoporosis are revealed. There analysed dependence of osteoporotic changes depth on the menopause type and its duration, what age it begins, body weight index and joints functional incompetence stage. Metabolic disturbances in calcium and phosphorus, bone and cartilage tissue as well as dysbalance of female hormones, their role in producing osteopenia syndrome and osteoporosis are investigated.There suggested complex therapy programs with alflutop and ostein for primary osteoarthrosis taking into consideration the bone tissue state and elaborated certain practical recommendations
