Essay

Dissertation is dedicated to studying Dyslipoproteinemias and serum levels of leptin in patients with type 2 diabetes mellitus with and without obesity. Object: lipid metabolism in patients with type 2 diabetes mellitus and metabolic syndrome. The work is aimed on studying the indices of lipoprotein metabolism and blood leptin level in patients with type 2 diabetes mellitus with and without obesity and in individuals with metabolic syndrome for improving the risk prognosis in developing cardiovascular diseases in these patients and optimizing hypolipidemic therapy. Methods and apparatus: anthropometric, biochemical, immunoenzymic, statistical; biochemical analyzer “Bayer RA-50”, saucer analyzer “Stat-Fax-300+”. Theoretical and practical results: obtained data of apolipoprotein A-1 and B level permit to optimize the diagnosis and treatment of lipid metabolism disorder in patients with type 2 diabetes mellitus that can promote the improvement of prognosis for the risk in the development of cardiovasculardiseases in these patients. The positive effect of hypolipidemic preparation simvastatin not only on changed lipide and apolipoprotein indices but also on leptin level was demonstrated that allow to recommend the use of this preparation in the complex therapy of patients with type 2 diabetes mellitus. The new: the new data that hyperleptinemia observed in individuals with metabolic syndrome is conditioned by the presence of obesity and it is not connected with carbohydrate disorders were received. The level of approach: results can be used in treating the patients with type 2 diabetes mellitus. Field of application: endocrinology, cardiology, therapy.
