This thesis is dedicated to research of peculiarities of lithology, construction, petrophyics features of LowCarboniferous alluvium of Dnieper-Donets depression, especially to its petroleum potential. Formation position of alluvium-deltaic deposits in Tournaisian-LowVisian tectono-sedimentation complex of Dnieper-Donets avlacogen is specified. On basis of mineralogical, petrographic research and granulometric composition analysis paleogeographic reconstruction have been made as well as features of composition and accumulation of Tournaisian-LowerVisean alluvium formation of Dnieper-Donets deepression have determined. On the grounds of lithogenetic type identification of sediments, facial interpretation logging data and analysis of distribution of isopach of alluvium complex in combination with different sandstone index characteristics of facial differentiation of alluvium-deltic complex have installed. Using core and logging data system of paleorivers structural valley of different range including inflow system, great overground delta with channel flow have mapped. The petroliferous regularites and petroleum potential perspectives of alluvium formation have traced. Different morfogenettic trap types are distinguished. Prospects petroleum potential map of Tournaisian-LowerVisian deposits have composed. A number of prospecting turgets are determined.
