Essay

Object of research: critical defects of the chemical plant. Target of research: development of mathematical bases and software for functional diagnostics of breakdown in the chemical process. Research methods: graph theory, fuzzy-set theory, theory of evidence, methods of expert estimations and Dempster-Shaffer theory. Theoretical and practical results: The results of made calculations have shown that these principles let quickly define possible directions of fault search according to strategy chosen before, which is of great importance for efficient fault isolating. The questions of the estimation the dataware efficiency are considered. The different criteria and accounting factors of effectiveness are analyzed. The account of specified criteria allows to value potential efficiency of the protection task of environmental dangerous plants. The ways of increasing the safety of the production operation and information efficiency of the automatic systems are offered. Novelty: the specificsituation of the breakdown in the process when the equipment failure exists is investigated: the main causes of accident and malfunctions of the formalin operating practices are displayed and classified; the fuzzy-model of the catalyst reckoning is processed; the problem of information grouping to detect potentially dangerous situation in critical applications is considered; the method combines the problem of group division (the classes) and the defining of the main object in each group is offered; the numerical algorithm of the information grouping is given. Degree of introduction: the results have been used by the Rubezgnoe state chemical plant "Zarja"; they have also been used for implementation of research and study works in the Severodonetsk technological institute.
