Essay

The Thesis is devoted to substantiation of a new technique for diagnostics of phase singularities in optical fields. It has been shown that such diagnostics can be carried out by observation of the edge diffraction from an opaque strip screen. It has been shown that the proposed diagnostic technique is applicable for thelight fields with arbitrary degree of coherence and arbitrary degree of polarization.
