The thesis is devoted to an increasing of reliability of results of diagnosing extraocular apparatus by developing the automated diagnosing system and a object-oriented information diagnosing model as its basic method for revealing and analyzing extraocular apparatus diagnostic attributes. The method of automated diagnosing which provides transforming information streams during the whole diagnosing process and receiving the result of diagnosing system as a class of extraocular apparatus condition has been offered. The structurally functional analysis allows to generate a set of features such as deviations of extraocular muscles lengths and time constants of transient processes. These features change their nominal values under the influence of certain external effects. The diagnostics of the extraocular system is made on these features. The newly developed information technology has been realized as an "EYECOM" diagnostic system.
