Gurienko K. Pathogenetic substantiation of staged metabolic correсtion of iron-deficient anemia in children

The dynamic study of 150 children with clinical picture of IDA, their hemogram indices, iron-substituting fund and relationship in the system of peroxide oxidation of lipids – antioxidant protection (POL-AOP) allowed to reveal marked metabolic disorders that persisted for a long time against a background of conventional therapy. To eliminate the revealed disturbances there was developed the scheme of staged metabolic correction with introduction of antioxidant preparation «Yantarin» at the starting stage and phytocomplex «Spirulina» at the maintaining stage. The given therapy in comparison with a traditional therapy promoted normalization of hemogram indices, iron-substituting fund, metabolic processes in POL-AOP system and reduction of IDA recurrence rate. There was elaborated staged metabolic correction of IDA. It is composed of the starting and maintaining stages, improves the disease outcome and raises the life quality of children suffering from iron-deficient anemiа
