The scientific task of improvement of method of determination of fire positions (FP) coordinates of artillery guns is untied in countermorter (CR) radar in the conditions of the limited time of supervision of ballistic objects (BO) on a trajectory with the purpose of exactness increasing determination of coordinates FP with the use of the artillery system (AS) class recognition. The mathematical model of recognition quality estimation and determination of coordinates FP is developed, that consists of blocks: motion, secondary radiation, linear part of receiver, noises and jams, measuring of recognition features, algorithms of recognition, coordinate FP determination and block of evaluation of results of design, which differs from known by possibility of design of complex decision of task of recognition and FP coordinates determination. Communication is set between frequencies of motions BO that by the power spectrum of radar echo fluctuations, and the improved method of signal recognition of class AS is developed. With his application the method of determination of coordinates FP is improved, with the choice of trajectory from family of twoparametric standard for MSE.
