Dissertation is devoted to the decision of scientific task of improvement of internalss of excavation of potato heap layer by developmentand the drounding parameters of ploughshare-rotor potato digger executed as an undermining ploughshare and set above him in the forehand of active blade rotor, combination of which intensifies the process of separating of admixtures to the lots of potato. On the basis of the conducted theoretical and experimental researches grounding geometrical form and rational parameters of ploughshare and blade rotor. The method of engineering calculation of basic parameters of potato digger potato digger is developed and recommended the rational values for their choice. It is drawn on results of researches by project-designers organizations at development of the slotted share machines.
