Essay

The paper is dedicated to the development and theoretical and experimental researches of flax pullers with transversal position of channels in order to enhance quality and amplitude of flax stems pulling. To solve this problem, existing constructions of flax pullers were analyzed, their agrotechnical indices were investigated, mathematical models of flax sheaves forming were built, means of flax stems stretching reduction, the least stems height at which machine pulling is expedient were identified. The dynamic of flax stems travel in pulling channels. Inertia forces and forces moments values and their effect to the stems stretching were identified. Optimal pulling section working width was identified theoretically and experimentally. Field tests were performed and payoff of flax pullers with enhanced agrotechnical indices was calculated.
