Essay

The dissertation thesis is dedicated to theoretical and methodical issues of attractiveness analysis of international commodity markets while working out the strategy of foreign markets' penetration. The analysis of essence of category "attractiveness of international commodity markets' shows that it is connected with quantitative and qualitative variables of branch market and the category "competitive situation of a market" and "competitiveness of a market". Attractiveness analysis of a market is usually connected with the market environment analysis of an enterprise, which is planning foreign markets' penetration. This matter enabled us to propose to take into consideration multilevel system of characteristics while considering the attractiveness analysis of foreign markets. This system consists of megalevel - world level; macrolevel - country level; mezolevel - branch level. The definition of attractiveness of international commodity markets is formulated as a system of economic relations among thesubjects of international market - consumers, competitors, suppliers, intermediaries, public institutions concerning the agreement of their economic interests, connected with enterprise penetration and their strategies on international markets in short-, medium and long run.
