Yakhno O. Ukraine in modern geopolitical environment (political - media aspect)

Thesis are devoted to political - media analysis of Ukrainian positioning in modern geopolitical environment. The paper studies the place of Ukraine in Western geopolitical conceptions, modern Russian geopolitical conceptions, and geopolitical theories of "information society" and conceptions of national geopolitics in different historical conditions. There has been analyzed European factor of geopolitical strategy and modern Euro integration challenges for Ukraine. There have been given estimation for stages of development, modern condition of relations between our state and European structures, integration of Ukraine in European social and especially information environment. There have been studied information dimension imperatives of Ukrainian European integration, impact of foreign printed mass media on European integration processes in Ukraine, coverage of this problem in national mass media through the prism of Euro integration challenges for our country. There have been outlined recommendationsconcerning intensification of mass media impact on Ukrainian external politics for more efficient process of Euro integration of Ukraine.
