Essay

Object: acquired uncomplicated myopia in the children. Purpose: to increase the medical treatment effectiveness of children with acquired uncomplicated myopia by antioxidant and immune correcting therapy. Methods: visometry, biomicroscopy, ophtalmoscopy, schiascopy, biochemical and immune. For the first time intensification of free-radical processes depending on the increase of myopia degree has been revealed in children with acquired uncomplicated myopia. For the first time an internal applicated phyto-medicine spirulina for the treatment of children with myopia. Spirulina has led to the bringing about visual analyzer function status and normalization of immunological and correction of metabolic disturbances. The main results of the work were introduced at the Filatov Institute and myopia process development decreased by 33%, uncorrected visual acuity increased by 49%. The sphere of using: medicine, ophthalmology.
