Essay

Issues devoted to determination of soil nonuniformity influence on results of static sounding and to development of methods for calculation of soil behavior on static sounding results take into consideration that influence. Influence of soil nonuniformity on it behavior definite sounding is defining with difficulty empirically at complex soil conditions because of experiment laboriousness and great number of nonuniformity types. Empirical-analytic method with theoretical calculations for stress and deformations specified by separate experiments is less laborious. Need theoretical regularities are got at first in dissertation for static sounding. Energy consumptions for deformation soil processes at sounding were defined because of stresses and deformations are not connected with soil resistance to sounding. Functional dependences for that resistance on soil behaviors were got from equality for energy consumptions for these processes and for sound indentation. Model for Bingam body for determination ofapplication domains of one-element models, elasticity theory and free running static for getting work formulas for processes flowing on different distance from sound were used at researches. The control was realized on 80 tests at uniform and nonuniform soils, at gutter by standard sound and by comparison with used empirical dependences. Divergences have been at most 10-15%. Soil nonuniformity types influencing on sounding at complex soil conditions were definite. Formulas for determination of internal riser influence for solid soil into top unstable soil and formulas for resistance increasing at sound approaching to border of more solid layer were determined for fragments with different solidity layers. Keywords: soil, stress-strain properties, non-homogeneity, static penetration, stress, deformations.
