Works by Burroughs of 50-60 years. To research the artistic peculiarities of Burroughs's creative work. Typologycal, system methods and method of content analys were used. Burroughs's literary heritage is looked upon in the conext of critical paradigms evolution, being connected with the modern American literary and cultural development. The sphere of usage is the next detail researching of Burroughs's works, creation of school- and high school-books on the literature history, preparing of the special courses and seminars.
