Shostak L. Regulation of competitive relations in the sphere of telecommunications.

The object is the processes of competition regulation on the telecommunication market. The goal is development of the theoretical approaches and practical recommendations, which aim to perfect the functioning of Ukrainian telecommunication sphere through improv- ing the regulatory influence over electric ties operators’ competition. Used methods are economic and statistical, analytical and logical, methods of systemic and technical-economical analysis, economical-mathematical modeling. The novelty – factors of competition regula- tion on the telecommunication market are determined and generalized for the first time; division of telecommunication services by their characteristics is suggested and helps to simplify the procedure of licence obtaining; methodology for working out local communication services, by which telephone connection unit rate must be equal for all categories of consumers, is constructed. Results - directions and ways of improvement of the regulatory influence over electric ties operators’ competition have been elaborated.
