Essay

The object is a steel structures of building constructions; the aims are development and improvement of calculation methods of reliability of steel structures by criterion of bearing capacity on the basis of researches stochastic atmospheric and crane loads and the account of possible character of failure of steel structures elements; the methods are probability theory, the theory of casual processes and theory of extrema, statistical processing of random data, numerical modelling, experimental methods of research of building structures; the theoretical results are developed models of maxima of stochastic variable loads, methods of an estimation of elements reliability of steel structures on several types of failures, optimum levels of reliability of steel structures are installed; the practical results are given to the recommendation on codification of some factors of a method of limiting conditions, offers in the future probability codes of steel structures are developed; the field - simple methodsof calculation of reliability of elements of steel structures are developed which it is possible to consider as engineering; results - introduction at designing new and an estimation of reliability of existing steel designs; the field is construction
