Essay

Dissertation іs devoted to investigation of the crack edges contact influence upon strain-stressed state and limit equilibrium of shells and plates on elastic support. The crack edges contact is modeled on the basis of Kirhoff's hypothesis within the framework of two-dimensional theories of plates and shallow shells. The asymptotic and numeric techniques of determination of parametric solutions of mixed-boundary value problem about tension-bending of shells with cracks are developed. The problems about cracks edges contact during the bending of plate and spherical shell on elastic support are considered. The interaction of collinear cracks in plates and shallow shells subjected to bending load taking into account cracks edges contact are investigated. With use of power fracture criterion the limit equilibrium diagrams have been built for arbitrary correlation of tension and bending loading.
