Essay

A criterion of gamma-type finiteness of functions analytic in the closure of the upper complex half-plane in terms of the Fourier coefficients of their argumens is obtained. We introduce analogs of the Nevanlinna and Ahlfors-Shimizu characteristics for the functions meromorphic in annuli and study their properties. Analogs of the First and Second main theorems, Cartan theorem and other classical results are proved.
