Essay

To work out the most effective diagnostic and treating procedure 120 tympanogenous labyrinthitis patients were studied. Another 119 archive case histories were investigated dated 1992-1998. It has been discovered that acute diffuse forms of labyrinthitis inflammation are diagnosed in 53,9% cases, chronic diffuse process was seen in 24,6%, limited - 15,1%, necrotic - 4,6%. The dissertation works out and suggests the scheme to diagnose labyrinthitis, which allows to improve diagnosing and surgical management. It has been shown that the volume of motion and metric investigation in labyrinthitis patients should be individual and the degree of motion dysfunction should be considered. To revel latent malfunction forms special "sensitive" methods are suggested.
