Object of research: process of nature management at regional level. Purpose: scientific-theoretical ground of perfection of mechanisms of government control of nature management at regional level. Methods: approach of the systems, historical and logical, statistical, scientific abstraction, expert estimations, descriptive design and generalization. Results: the ways of perfection of mechanisms of government control of nature management at regional level are offered. Novelty: the use of resource-ecological rent as bases of government control of nature management is grounded in theory. It is inculcated at preparation of Program of stabilizing of the ecological state and rational nature management of the Kiev region on a period to 2010. Areas of use: state administration, regional management, training and retraining of civil servants.
