Essay

Processes of beam-plasma interaction are considered. The main goal is a theoretical study of electron beams interaction with isotropic and magnetoactive semiconductor waveguides. Method – analytical solving of Maxwell’s equations and material equations. Beam plasma interaction with account of dissipation effects is studied, efficiency of the beam-plasma interaction is determined, effect of parameters of the system on the efficiency is investigated. Hydrodynamical theory of plasma instabilities in considered structures is built. Sphere of use – semiconductor plasma amplifiers and generators.
