Essay

The dissertation is devoted to research of the French educational system in the second half of the ХIХ century. The complex research of all the ranges of French education in the second half of the Х1Х century at different stages is carried out. The comparative analysis of structures, pedagogical organisation and direction of the state and non-state education is made. The role and place of all the levels of education in the general system are determined. The special role of human factor, for example, the role of French ministers of education such for development of democratisation process and formation of secular school emphasized. The main reasons for determining the character of educational process in the outlined period are investigated.
