Essay

The Dankevich L. A. thesis is dedicated to studying of phenotypic and genotypic properties complex of collection and fresh isolated strains "P. lupini", which sufficient for its species definition. It has been established the ability of the fresh isolated as well as collection strains "P. lupini" to strike the wide range of legumes. It is revealed, that the majority of "P. lupini" strains on pathogenic, morphological, cultural, biochemical properties, as well as antigenic and fatty acids composition of cells are related to the typical strain P. syringae рv. syringae В1027 that raises a doubt the existence of single "P. lupini" species. The majority of "P. lupini" strains for the exception of strain 8531 in GC contents in genomic DNA are related to the typical strain P. syringae рv. syringae В1027. The data of full-size DNA replica of 16S rRNA gene sequence confirmed relationship of the majority of investigated strains with species P. syringae. However the strain 8531 has 100% nucleotide's chain homology with P. sаvastanoi pv. glycinea. On results of phenotypic and genotypic properties analyzing the majority of investigated strains belong to species P. syringae and only the strains 8531 to - P. sаvastanoi. In thesis it has been also shown that lupine's sort resistance to lupine's brown bacterial spottiness agent depends on sort's content of alkaloids, that's must taken to attention in selection of new legumes sorts.
