Essay

Objective – experimental and clinical basing of use of complex of microelements for the improvement of the efficacy of radiotherapy for locally advanced breast cancer. It has been revealed experimentally and proven clinically that complex of microelements renders radiomodifying effect – increases radiosensitivity of malignancies and promotes radioprotection of normal tissues with maximal radiomodifying effect 24-28 hours after its administration. Increase of the efficacy of complex treatment (increase of tumor regression) and total 3-yaer survival of breast cancer patients has been achieved.
