The onymy of Roald Dahl's prose for children. The aim is a complex analysis of the poetonymosphere of Roald Dahl's prose for children. The methods include descriptive, componental, contextual-interpretational, etymological. The complex analysis of the poetonymosphere of Roald Dahl's prose for children was carried out for the first time. The methods of the septemic analysis of onomastic occasional words and a number of onyms was worked out, that will be applied in the precess of onomastic study in other authors works of art. The results can be employed in lexicology and stylistics courses and in the course of modern English poetics. The sphere of usage - higher school.
