Subject of research - the process of change of agrophysical, physical and chemical and biological properties of soddy podzolic soil and short-term rotation productivity formation at the different fertilizer systems. The purpose of work is the development and improvement of ways of the increase of soil fertility, in potato and crop rotation productivity with the use of biological means of intensification on the basis of fertilizer system. Research methods are field, laboratory, statistical. In the conditions of the Polissia on soddy podzolic soils the effect of alternative fertilizer system on the soil fertility, potato yield value and quality formation and the crop rotation productivity are revealed and the advisability of their use as a basis of the fertilizer system is substantiated. On the basis of economic and energy analysis the possibility of substitution of manure application under potato at its insufficient, production by means of the combination of winter crop straw with its half dose and thatof straw with intermediate planting of lupin for green manure is determined. On the basis of biological means the potato fertilizer system in short-term rotations is worked out that secures practically the same productivity as and a manure application at the reduction in fertilizer use costs by 33,7-50,4% and increase of profitability level of the tuber production by 7,5-10,7%. The research results are introducer in 2005 at the Experimental Farm "Progress" of the Kozelets district of the Chernihiv region over an area 20 ha. Field of application - the agricultural production.
