Shchotova N. Legal regulation of youth employment assistance in Ukraine

The present scientific research represents a complex study of legal problems concerning youth employment assistance in Ukraine. The author of the present work has analysed currently existing definitions of such research key concepts as "youth", "employment assistance", "employment", "young specialist", and presented her own interpretation of them. Having carried out a comparative analyses of legal regulations of youth employment assistance under national and foreign laws, there have been suggested some measures to adjust national Labour Law norms with international ones. There have been analysed the reasons for child labour as well as its particular features. The author of the work has revealed and analysed some gaps and differences in legislation securing state guarantees of youth employment assistance, such as: reserving work places, providing the first work place, granting subsides for employers to create extra places of work and others. Basing on the analyses done, the following measures have beenproved as necessary, they are: to make some changes in the system of vocational motivation, to reduce an age-limit for employment benefit in order to promote entrepreneurship, to create a new model defining needs in qualified workers with the developing market relations taken into account.
