Essay

The present thesis is devoted to the development of colloid-chemical regularities of isolation of hexadecylpyridinium salts (HDPS) from aqueous solutions by precipitating flotation, extraction, flotoextraction methods. The addition of stoichiometric amounts of inorganic (potassium hexacyanoferrates (III, II)) or organic (sodium tetradecylsulfate and potassium tridecylcarboxylate) reactants to aqueous solutions of HDPS have been found to be important for effective realization of the precipitating flotation process. The aqueous solutions of mixtures off HDPS with of sodium alkylsulfates of different composition discover synergetic effect in processes of micellization, adsorption on the interface of phases solution-air, solubilization of n-decane, foam-forming. The extraction isolation of HDPS from aqueous solutions following the addition of anionic surfactant to aqueous or n-pentadecanic phase is advisable in an alkaline condition. The use of the flotoextraction with the help of small amounts (3-10 mg/dm3) or n-alkanes enables the most complete HDPS extraction, admits to avoid drawbacks typical for extraction and flotation methods. Fields of usage - colloid chemistry, bionomics, technology of clearing of water from cationic surfactants.
